Snow Birds — Panel 12: To the Sky — epic flock launch
← Back to 1440 Studios

Snow
Birds

A cinematic adventure about belonging, courage, change, and the strange beauty of finding your flock.

A Coming-of-Age Epic
Above the Arctic

Set in a vast Arctic bird civilization, Snow Birds follows a young awkward bird coming of age just as the flock faces a changing world beyond the cliffs.

The film covers family, identity, migration, and what it takes to become who you are. It is a story for anyone who has ever felt like they didn't quite fit, and who found, in the end, that the flock they were looking for was the one they had to build themselves.

Snow Birds — Panel 01: Nest City North at Dawn

A Civilization
on the Edge

Massive ice cliffs. Towering bird cities. Snow, sunrise, flying formations. A world of epic scale and warm humor. Built to feel real, alive, and worth protecting.

The Flock

Cooper

A young, awkward seagull with disheveled feathers and a voice that still cracks. Reluctant leader-in-training for Flock 3299. Thinks too much and flies too little. When his home is bulldozed, he has to find the courage he never knew he had.

Simone

Graceful, cool, and quietly confident. She noticed Cooper long before he noticed her. She sees the leader in him before he does, and she is not wrong.

Chief Lock

Commander of Flock 3299. Wears the medallion. Surveys his city from his nest window every morning with quiet pride. The weight of ten thousand birds rests on him, and he carries it without complaint.

Uncle Joe

Smooth. Sophisticated. Always in a bow tie. He puts a wing around Cooper at the cliff edge and says what needs to be said: you think too much and fly too little. He is never wrong either.

What the Film
Is Really About

Family

The bonds that hold us, even when they strain.

Identity

Who are you when the flock doesn't recognize you?

Migration

Every departure is a decision. Every decision has a cost.

Environmental Change

The world beyond the cliffs is changing. The flock must decide.

Courage

It takes more courage to be yourself than to fly with the crowd.

Belonging

Finding your flock is not about fitting in. It is about knowing where you belong.

In Active Development

We are developing concept art, story reels, and a production plan that will bring this world to life at the highest possible level.

We are actively seeking co-production partners, distribution conversations, and creative collaborators who believe in the story. If Snow Birds speaks to you, we want to hear from you.

Why This Story,
Why Now

"We live in a world that is changing faster than most of us can process. The question of where we belong, and who we belong with, has never felt more urgent."

Snow Birds began as a question: what does it feel like to be the one bird who sees the horizon differently? From that question, a world grew. A civilization. A flock. A story about the courage it takes to be the first one to fly in a new direction, and what it takes to bring others with you.
